Kiss of Death

Most of you have probably read the pass along stories on Ginny's and Kendle's blogs. Well, here is another one of our interesting stories. I wanted it to be romantic, but as you can tell from the title its not. Enjoy!
UPDATE: Here is the rest of the story. Sorry about not posting all of it at once, my computer did something werid when I posted it. Hope you enjoy the rest!

Kiss of Death

There once was a princess that was madly in love with a knight. But it could never be because the king would never allow his daughter to marry a lowly knight with beautiful blue eyes. Of course that didn't stop her from loving him.
"I love you!" She once attacked him in the corridors.
The knight looked at her disdainfully. "I find you repulsive."
It wasn't the nicest thing to say but it was true for the princess had three gargantuan green moles on her forehead.
What was the princess to do? No one could ever love a girl with three green moles, maybe one, but the princess was simply a freak. When the riders of the forest returned from their hunt they reported seeing copious amounts of green smoke, a sure sign that the enchantress had returned to the kingdom. The princess decided to seek out the enchantress. Maybe she could help her.
The princess set off one morning after finding three ingrown hairs on her chin. But then her fairy god mother came and said, "Oh love, I'm sorry you're so ugly. But because of your true love for the knight I will make you as lovely as you are inside." And so she did, making it unnecessary for her to go to the enchantress. Her hair was turned from brown to gold, her three moles and ingrown hairs disappeared. And her eyes turned to the perfect shade of green to compliment the knight's blue eyes.
The princess, who's name was Gretchen, ran to the knight. He was stunned by her beauty. He began to speak but found words inadequate so he began to passionately kiss her. She passionately kissed him back. Then the clock struck twelve.
Apparently the fairy god mother was not all she was cracked up to be because at the stroke of midnight her spell wore off and the knight was dead. It turns out that not only was she repulsive, she had poisonous purple lips. She wept with her grief and decided to go to the enchantress to relieve her of her absolute hideousness and curse.
Well, since she had decided to go to the enchantress she needed someone to take her and protect her while she traveled through the black forest. So she got the uncommonly handsome stable boy (who had beautiful bright green eyes) to take her on the kingdom's finest horse. Little did she know that the stable boy had always loved the princess because no matter how hideous the princess became he always loved her beautiful heart.
"I can't take it anymore!" He exclaimed. "I love you more than one thousand lives, I love you more than life itself! I would die for you!" Before she could stop him, he leaned in and kissed her. It was a sweet kiss. A chaste kiss full of true love. Unfortunately, it was also a kiss full of poison, and death.
He fell off his horse, twitching. He lay dead on the forest floor.
Randomly the princess wondered why all the men around her had pretty eyes. She concluded that it must be something in the water and continued to figure out what she was going to do now. She started walking towards her original destination and she soon discovered that she didn't need any protection because nothing wanted to eat something so disgusting looking. She soon came to some green smoke that smelled strongly of magic. She debated wether to go to the creepy looking cottage or not. She eventually though, "Yes, I'll do it for my stable boy, even if he is dead."
She went to the house with green smoke coming out of the chimney. When she knocked on the door she was very surprised who answered it. It was her stable boy who she had accidently killed. She was about to ask how in the world he as still alive when the enchantress came out of the shadows and answered her unspoken question.
"I came across this boy while I was walking around the forest. I too thought he was dead but it turned out that he was just barely alive. So I took him and it turned out he held onto life for the sake of true love."
"What!? My love!" She flung herself into his arms.
"April fools!" The enchantress cackled. The stable boy shimmered, then disappeared. "Did you honestly think I would be a charity worker? Hah, you've gotta give me something first."
"I'll do anything to be beautiful and in love," said the princess. The enchantress thought this an extremely foolish wish because beauty is not everything and love for beauty alone is worth nothing at all. However the princess could give the enchantress something she wanted so they proceeded to make a deal.
"Alright princess," the enchantress cackled. "I hope you keep your end of the deal!"
Well, the princess did and she became beautiful and her handsome stable boy came back to life (really), and they lived happily ever after in their castle that they built with their ten children. Of course, some of her children inherited some poisonous abilities. But that's another story.
