Do you think that Snape loved Lilly?
Okay, Dumbledore said that Snape showed remorse after James and Lilly's death. Do you think that the remorse he showed and felt was because of Lilly? We know that Snape hated James, and would never be sorry that he died. But how did he feel about Lilly? And do you think that if Snape did love Lilly that that had anything to do the the reason why Voldemort offered Lilly a chance to live? I think that Snape loved Lilly and that it is going to play a part in the 7th book. What do you think?

That's a really ineteresting idea- but I also think that Snape is a good guy- what about you?
If Snape loved Lilly that would explain why he hated James... and why he hates Harry. Harry is Lilly's child... (Well, duh, sorry- just sort of thinking here). Interesting speculation...
Yeah that's why i think dumbledore believed Snape was because he loved lilly. But do you think that Snape loving lilly had anything to do with Voldemort offering her a chance to live? If not why do you think VOldemort offered lilly and chance to live?

I have always prided myself as a good judge of charicter, though I have been known to be wrong. But when I first read the HP books I always tried to excuse Snape's behavior towards Harry because I knew he wasn't evil... maybe a little mean, but not cruel and twisted like Voldi.
I hate Snape. I think most people like Snape because of the way Alan Rickman potrays him in the movies. Alan Rickman makes him cool. I hated Snape before the movie but even I liked him somewhat after the movie.
I would say that maybe Voldermort loved Lilly, but I don't know if Voldermort can love anything but fear and hate.
I think snape is good, there is a very good chance he loved lilly, but I don't think voldemort loved lilly.
